So anyone got any tips to get this stuck harmonic balancer bolt out? I thought because my jeep is manual putting it in gear would keep it from spinning, apparently not.
There is the old rope trick. Get the #1 piston close to TDC on the compression cycle and stuff a bunch of clean rope in through the spark plug hole.
Since I do not remember the thread direction of the bolt you may need to figure out whether you need to do this before the piston hits TDC or just after. You want to do this on the compression stroke so that the valves are closed and are not bent in the process.
When you work to loosen the bolt you will now press on the rope against the head and valves to provide the resistance you need to get the bolt off.

Hey I might be getting some axles. A cry 8.25 for the rear and a Dana 30 for the front. Both are geared for 4.56 and the biggest my tires will be is 31. So how about your thoughts. I was kind of wondering if the 30 would make a good axle for the front? I don't do a lot of wheeling it's more of my dd

My '97 Jeep Cherokee Sport just got a small leak in the fuel line. Essentially it's a nylon hose that goes between the steel lines. Is there a temp fix I can use to patch it until I can get it to a mechanic? Would some rubber and a hose clamp work?
