Open up the plugs and just double check the boot is all te way on te plug. I've heard of case where people didn't realize it's not sitting right. Also did you put some dielectric in the boots and antiseize on the plugs?

No problem, but also the grease an anti seizi is just for future wear, not so much on your current issue. You can always erase the code and see if it come back

So anyone got any tips to get this stuck harmonic balancer bolt out? I thought because my jeep is manual putting it in gear would keep it from spinning, apparently not.

There is the old rope trick. Get the #1 piston close to TDC on the compression cycle and stuff a bunch of clean rope in through the spark plug hole.

Since I do not remember the thread direction of the bolt you may need to figure out whether you need to do this before the piston hits TDC or just after. You want to do this on the compression stroke so that the valves are closed and are not bent in the process.

When you work to loosen the bolt you will now press on the rope against the head and valves to provide the resistance you need to get the bolt off.

Thanks for the idea, my dad is bringing over and impact gun in a few hopefully that works if not the rope trick it is. Thanks again.

Hey I might be getting some axles. A cry 8.25 for the rear and a Dana 30 for the front. Both are geared for 4.56 and the biggest my tires will be is 31. So how about your thoughts. I was kind of wondering if the 30 would make a good axle for the front? I don't do a lot of wheeling it's more of my dd

4.56s for 31s seems a lil high. Might as well go to 32s with that gearing. Maybe someone else can chime in about the gearing. And the 30 is the standard for front axles give or take different style but none the less a 30

33-35 is good for 4.56, 4.10s are good for 31-32s but if you plan on going bigger just get the 4.56 IMO otherwise there goes a bunch of wasted $

I got my 2001 cherokee without a front swaybar. I have all the parts now to install the swaybar but do not have the sway bar bushing bolts. What size are they?

Default FUEL LINE LEAK!

My '97 Jeep Cherokee Sport just got a small leak in the fuel line. Essentially it's a nylon hose that goes between the steel lines. Is there a temp fix I can use to patch it until I can get it to a mechanic? Would some rubber and a hose clamp work?
