Hi guys, could not find info on this one in here so here is the issue. Everytime after it rains & the Jeep is parked, if I go for a drive somewhere & try to use the cruise it will not come on. I hit the "On" on the steering wheel & nothing, not even the Cruise light comes on in the cluster.
But later, say 20 miles it just pops on. Then when I try to "Enguage" again nothing. Sometimes it will engauge by itself 5-10 min later. I assume I am getting moisture somewhere in the electrical sytem for it but have no clue as to where to start looking.
I know its not an XJ but it has the 4.0 liter & it is a JEEP (Thank God). Hope someone can help on this.

I'm looking to do tabs on my bumper. There's a welding place that opened right by where I worked

I am running tbird coils and it gives me roughly 4" give or take, make sure you grab the top spring perch if you do get them because the coils dont fit exact on the top
I am buying a 2000 Sport 4x4 6cyl. I was looking at the 4x4 selector it has 2wd 4 wheel fulltime 4 hi 4 low maybe 1 slot I am missing. It seems different form the older Cherokees I have seen can some one shed a little light on the 4x4 drive I am getting?
Thanks

That's a NP242 Selec-Trac transfer case. You're used to the NP231 Command Trac that only has 2WD-4HI-N-4LO.

Hey guys...
I'm gonna be finally wiring up my roof lights and I have 2 questions...
1) I have 4 55w halogens all grounded to the light bar with the intention of grounding the bar itself to the body (roof), 2 lights per 14ga wire - should I wire these to a relay (if so, what kind?) or would coupling both 14ga qires to a larger wire be sufficient and then wire it directly to a switch?
2) I going to be running the wires through a grommet that I'll put in after drilling the hole - on-hand I have red RTV - would this be good for making the grommet water-tight?

Okay I have been at this for longer than I care to admit at this point, about 4 in the morning in AZ and I have an interview so no sleep until it's done. Anyway I got the old hb off and I think the new one is pressed on as far as it will go. I went to install the center bolt and became increasingly difficult, looked at the installer and some of the threads were kind of missing so I figured that some metal is up in there preventing me from screwing in the bolt. So I go to take it out and now the hb just spins and the bolt will not budge, it's about halfway in. I pulled my starter to see if I could wedge something in there to keep the flywheel from spinning, everything just falls out. Anyone got any good ideas? Oh and I forgot to mention I replaced the seal while I was in there and messed up the first new one, good thing there is a 24hr Autozone nearby.
