Is it possible your thermostat is not functioning properly? As I understand it your thermostat has to be open in order for the core to be receiving hot coolant. I may be wrong.

it is very possible. I think he would also have overheating issues though.

Good point. Well the easiest thing would be to flush the system but that and the thermostat is the only things I can think of unless...does your defrost work. And your ac. OP check you vacuum ball behind the bumper it deals with vents and suc

My a/c doesn't work, but I need a new compressor, no vacuum leaks, the vents function properly, I flushed the system when I put the new heater Core in about 6 months ago, maybe put the thermostat in wrong? I think the thermostat is fine though.

You may not have a leak just check the ball make sure there's no water it in. It's the simplist thing to check. I'm hoping someone else cAn shine some other ideas

It has a bit that I can hear when I shake it around, and I can shake a few drops out, but it's not even like 1/4 filled with water.

I've gotta do my heater core soon. You're making me nervous now. It burst not to long ago. It's a cold drive!

Everytime I turn on my driving lights the little 5 amp fuse blows. I have no dash lights. Why would it keep blowing

Or its overloaded due to add ons. Mine has a 7.5a fuse now. Did it blow with your lights on and you where shifting through gears? That's when mine happened. I opened it up and noticed some wires rubbing, I quickly fixed that. The other thing would be a short in your head light switch.

mine did that too when I got it. I changed the transfer case fluid and It took some pulling but it was good after that. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Also do you have your tranny in neutral when trying to go Into 4lo. It'll grind if you don't

It's possible that causing the issue. See if you can get another one from the JY shouldn't be more than a few dollars. That water might be stopping it from fully creating a vacuum. I could be wrong but a few dollars to see if it's a fix shouldn't be bad
