XJ Ask the Question Thread
No luck!!!!! I tried moving and pulling the lever still jammed.... Another things I should try... I've done the fluids and it all seemed clean and at normal level.... Could it be the lever jammed

Could be, but I've never heard of that. Get under there and check for anything that could be in the way of all the lever linkages. If that's still good, then I fear it could be jammed inside of the transfer case.

So i have been consistently finding a bit of milkshake on my dipstick. I've been hoping its just some condensation. Today i drove it around for a few minutes and parked it, there was some milkshake on the stick. Pulled the valve cover and no milkshake there. I drained all the oil for an oil change and the oil was totally milkshake free. Filled her up(and replaced the oil pressure sender, it is now reading good pressure) and drove her around. When i parked it i still found a bit of milkshake on the dipstick. Whats up with that?

Regarding milkshakes, how's the crankcase ventilation look? When you yanked the valve cover did you check the elbows to make sure they were clear? I think that normally any condensation should get evaporated and then sucked out via the vent into the intake manifold but perhaps if it were clogged this may not be working properly.

I thought everyone knew what the term milkshake meant! Haha.
No i'm not losing coolant, and like i said when i drained the oil it was water free. When i took the valve cover off i cleaned it out. This is really weirding me out, milkshake on the dipstick scares me but it doesnt seem like there is any coolant getting into the oil.

I replaced my heater Core and heater hoses about 6 months ago and my heat takes forever to get warm, if I let it run at idle, it won't even warm up until I start driving it, is there anything I can do to improve the heat?
