Post of 96xjclassic's new springs (formerly my new springs until this morning):

He's having technical difficulties, but they look great in person.

Torx T27, I think. Take out the screw, wiggle the end-piece loose, and slide them right off the back (or front).

were there any changes through model year?

Wait, so what is the little button for then? Then again this would explain why I could never get the friggers off.

Default I need help finding a lift kit for my 96 Cherokee

ok i have a 2wd 4.0 96 classic. I'm wanting a 5 inch lift but I havent the slightest idea of what I need the lift kit package to include. Not sure of all the components I need for a decent lift with all necessary components. Would appreciate the feedback. Thanks . - Matthew

springs, control arms, adjustable track bar, shocks, t-case drop (2wd i know but if you get drive line vibes you'll need to lower the cross-member) probably more just cant think right now
edit: brake lines, longer sway bar links if you plan on keeping it
what do you intend to do with your jeep?

Angry transfer case rear output seal leaking!!!

I have a 95 cherokee with a NP-231 T-case and a 3 inch RC lift. I replaced the rear output seal 3 times, replaced extension housing, got an new ceramic coated slip yoke and the damn thing is leaking again. The lift never came with axle shims and i wonder if this is the problem?? I was also contemplating a T-case drop and maybe the the axle shims as an SYE alternative.. I seem to be the only guy with the seal leaking issue??? As for vibes they don't bother me. I just want to stop leaving oil all over the adirondacks!!! Anyone else out there in the same boat?? what do I do??
