I'm either going with the neon or ford because of the upgrade. I have a 2000xj.

Anybody ever weld a BPE in the rear?
Went to swap out my DD shocks with some nicer used ones. One of the rears bolts broke, I really don't feel like dicking around with a drill and chasing threads again, so I was thinking just weld some BPEs in there. I think I have a rear sway bar on my parts jeep so I may just use those brackets.
Anyone done that?

When you change the valve cover gasket, should you use a Dustbuster to vacuum the bits you scrape off? What's the best method to scrape the bits without having them all drop into the engine? Almost like how the dentist sucks your spit while he's scraping.

Hi All - I'm new to the Jeep forum, so hopefully doing this right? I've tried to search for an answer to this question, but haven't found it yet...hope one of you can help. I've just purchased a 1993 Cherokee Sport (manual), and my Warning lights are out (none of the lights comes on when I start the engine), the warning lights are on a separate panel than the Odometer, fuel, etc (which work fine). I've checked fuses, and bulbs...all seem to be fine. Also, the Auto locks only open when I turn the car off with the key...separate issues? Where should I start looking for the problem?
Thank you. I placed it under the main leaf since this way it doesnt interfere with the stock welded on clamps. Its about the same length as the leaf under it but so far so good I think it will be fine.

Iv been hearing a loud clunking noise in my front left when I turn or hit bumps. After further inspection o found that the driver side shock can be shaking around at the top and turned 360 degrees.. The other shock doesn't do that. Blown shock or is the top mount broken y'all think? And can thy be the clunking noise?

i washed my jeep, covered up the battery, brain on fender and oil breather. well now it idles sometimes like it wants to bog out. it idles around 300 rpm it will go down to about 100 then shoot up. Then when you rev it rpms hang up. I changed the tps and it did nothing. Tomorrow i plan on new plugs rotor etc
