what fat wire connects to the axle on the driver side? i broke mine and have no idea what it does. i will post pics tomorrow but ide like to figure it out before then

it doesnt look like a hose it looks like a quarter inck maybe half inch thick wire that connects to the axle about a foot in from the hub/drum assembly on the front side of the axle (sorry for saying axle so much just wana be as specific as possible)
is the ebrake a cable or a wire? i think it might be that??

My 97 rides like a tank in the rear. And my driver seat foam is beyond worn out. Makes my back hurt after driving it back and forth a couple miles a day to work. Need some direction here ....spend money on good suspension style seats or try and get the jeep riding softer? Also anyone know of a place to get NEW seat foam? 97 5.5 " lift. Bought this way. Appears to have aftermarket leaf shackles not sure bout springs. Fox emulsion2.0 shocks

that's why it rides like crap. 45 degrees is optimal.

I've seen the chart of all The different rear ends to determine what axles I have can some one send that to me I'd love any help in figuring it out I have 89 Cherokee auto trans
