quick issue. I've noticed a number of small problems with something in my passenger door wiring. I own a 2000 2-door sport with power windows (not sure if that matters). My primary concern is that at times when using my key to signal a lock or unlock, none of the latches do either. the only fix i find to this is manually unlocking (if the car was locked) the car, and flicking the passenger door lock switch back and forth until it decides to function again. the scenario has become more frequent lately and i was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem thanks to Chrysler's terrible wire work on them. Could it be a frayed/exposed wire, corrosion on contacts, bad switch?

I replaced my head gasket and I think I still have coolant leaking into my engine. I have a friend with a 1994 cherokee for sale. Can I swap that 94 motor into my 99 if I use all of my accessories (alt, intake, exhaust, etc) ?

I opened up my oil fill cap and I'm getting no oil to the rocker arms, anyone know why? I just changed it and it has a pretty nasty tick also.
Edit: I'm a moron, the new oil is obviously not going to be dark so it's harder to see, and I put 10W-30 in when it had 10W-40 so that can probably explain the louder tick.

yes u can. Just plug the temp sensor hole on the back of the head or block.
do am road tripping indefinitely in my 1990 xj inline 6 2wd. I did 1000 miles in the past few days. I idled on park for a bit and the car accelerated real week and got stuck on 2nd. 2.5 rpm 35 mph.
Trans fluid is good and the only thing that was wrong was that my aux fan was touching the belt.
Let it cool down and wwent for it again and car is shifting and running smooth. Autozone was no help at all. Ideas?

As a side note - many have been successful in repairing manifolds with a welder. Just make sure you add in a flex joint before the cat or it will just crack again.

Yeah. Remove all the electronics, sensors, ignition, fuel rail, etc., and bolt yours on. You will also need to swap intake in order to keep your power steering pump and tensioner setup.

It's at 216k miles and I have no idea if it's been serviced. The fluid is still mostly pink and clear though. Figured I might as well do it when I install my aux trans cooler.

OK, assuming I can just get a gasket then, just take it off spray it out with brake cleaner and reinstall. Why do they even sell so many filters? I figured there'd at least be a paper or super fine mesh that would need replacing.

In other transmissions, yes. In the AW4, no.
