Is it possible for a cylinder head crack to only open when the engine is hot? I would think so, but I just want to make sure. I clearly saw coolant weeping from between where cylinders 3 and 4 would be on the head while the engine was running. Now with the head off and cleaned up, there is no visible crack.
No, I don't lick fish.

I'm looking at doing around a 2" suspension lift (OME) and Im curious about my steering components. At what height would I need to start worrying about my:
- Tie rod/ends
- Drag link
- Pitman arm
- track bar
Control arms I'm not too worried about since I've read here and there that those don't become a big issue until you go more than 2".
Just looking for some input so I know what to buy when I get the lift
Thanks

Hi all - I am new to the forum and Jeep! A month ago I purchased a mint condition 41 k miles 2000 model. However I have messed up on the wrong radio code chances its on long term "wait" mode. I have researched how to clear and have taken it on a 4 and half hour non stop run. The local dealer (Jeep) says I need to leave the ignition on with a battery charger connected for 72 hours!!!
Do any of you guys have any advice that is better quicker and cheaper please for this simpler English person!

D30 axle tube diameter? Need to order perches and shock tabs.
Google isn't working for me this morning, and I'm not in the mood to dig

Doesn't it taper on the outsides?
For what it's worth, RuffStuff lists their D30 leaf perches as 2.5" OD tube. So I'm gonna say it's 2.5", at least where the perches go. Thanks again

Quick question, my lift gate on '88 would never open. So while it was raining today I crawled into the back to see what the issue was. After pulling the trim panel to get a look at the latch, pretty much the entire fiberglass surround was gone. What years can I pull up to, just to be done with it. TIA
