What he said. I have a 12V compressor in each of my vehicles. They have saved my rear end (and dozens of others) more times than I care to remember.

Even a five and dime cheapie is a life saver.

That and a speedy tire repair kit are imperative items in your offroad tool box.

 

I've seen it done once, using XJ front seats. Jeep was in a junkyard. They screwed a 2x6 to the floor in front of the under-bench storage, and they ran screws through the seat brackets into the 2x6 at the front and through the floor at the back. They were all wood screws, by the way; not a single bolt. The rest of the jeep was built with equivalent craftsmanship

 

So, today I took off my oil cap and gave it a smell, Gasoline. Also when I start the jeep it hard starts,(6-10 cranks) when I poor man prime it, it starts better. Loss of fuel rain pressure. Then after it gets started prime or no prime, it'll rough idle for a while(1000rmp) then drop down what what is normal(750rmp?) All signs point to fuel injectors. So I'm, wondering what people recommend for injectors(P.N.703 injectors or dodge neon or mustang duh) I'm not rich. I need these for 100$ or less for all 6. Any ideas?

 

Very likely injectors but verify first. Just yank the injectors and the rail and see if they slobber gas.

What injectors you use entirely depends on year. Volvo 746 for Renix, Neon 703s for '91-'98, Neon 784s for '99+

2001 Stock XJ, high beam question.
There are lots of threads on this subject in many forums but I can't find an answer other than to upgrade the wiring harness with something like the Putco.
My issue is no high beam on the passenger side, H4 upgrade has been done and had a Putco in until the relays went bad so I had down graded the bulbs to lower wattage and plugged the OEM wiring back in while I upgrade the harness upgrade and better weather proofed the new relays.
So the passenger side dies, no light when the high beams are turned on.
Voltage going to the high beam side of the connector is in the millivolt range rather than the 12 volt range so the issue is down the line.
Looking at my Haynes wiring diagram gave me a headache so my question is where do I test?
Is it the actual headlight switch or the high beam switch on the column or is there a relay some place or is there some other wonderful thing to check?
I will be replacing the harness but the harness uses the passenger side to activate the relays so fixing the issue is actually something I have to look at to redo the upgrade.
I suppose I could just change the trigger connector to the driver's side but I hate ignoring an issue!
Any and all suggestions are appreciated!!

I'm not sure if they're wearing yet and it didn't do this before the lift, but what could be causing the rear tires to pick up more dirt on the inside? I have my psi set to 26 after a chalk test. My rear camber isn't off at all, just the thrust angle. Is it just a characteristic of 35x12.50s on 15x8s?

 

.91 what? Camber? Caster? Toe in? Theres a lot of reasons why your jeep would pull to one side. Dont be so quick to blame your tires. Is there any play in your suspension/steering components? Theres just not enough information for us to pin it down to anything.

Did you measure that off the pins in the headlamp connector itself? There's another connector up the line around the PCM where the headlight harness joins the engine bay harness. You can wind up with corrosion in there. Usually it's corrosion that kills the Putco relays anyway - anything that gives a poor trigger voltage will do them in. This includes a ****ty ground, DRL, or bad connection.

No relays in the headlight system at all. That's why the Putco's such a huge upgrade!
