Does anybody other than daystar make a rear extended bump stop? One of my oem stops basically exploded, and I need longer ones anyway.

I just ordered the quadratecs rear bumpstops. They are longer than stock but forgot the exact measurements. I also have the creepy fabrications extended plate from their ebay store. Seems to do the job I don't ever rub with 33's on 5.5 inches of lift

Iv got an engine related question. Its a short simple question. In my 4 banger honda iv got head gasket issues. Its got 173k miles. I used a bore scope camera and got a few pics. 2 of my pistons look good, noce and clean. The other two are concerning. By any chance would the clean ones be where the head gaskets bad?

Ill attatch pics.

I attatched 3 pics. The two dirty ones are individual cylinders next to each other. The last one is one of the two clean shiny cylinders.

Which pair of them is my problem, and is that bad carbon build up a big concern?

Energy Suspension, Prothane and no-name competition style, are all good. I prefer progressive bumps, they don't 'bottom out' suddenly.

I've seen 1" sway bar bushings and 25.85mm is 1.017 inches. Should I get 1"? Damn the choices...
Morning bump.

I'd buy 26mm. Remember the bushing gets compressed a bit once you screw that bracket on. 0.15mm isn't going to matter lol

Lol. Yea indeed it was a morning dump.

That's what I was thinking, 25mm would be too small, may get squished, not fit.

Those 1" sway bar bushings I was talking about have grease fittings and are only $18. I might go that route because that's only off by .017 (too big) of an inch. Which could just be my calipers not measuring perfect and it IS an inch.

Why the hell did they use so many different sway bar thicknesses.

Eh, calipers are for chumps. Go the channel lock and tape and i bet the measurement is different lol :-P jk. Mines was like 22.5mm but website shown the same one fits 22 or 23. It was tight getting it on, giggity, but my sway bar actually does something now

So I took advantage of the torrential rains and flash floods by doing a little wheeling. Drove home and parked the car for a bit but had to go to the store this morning to grab some things and noticed my headlights aren't working. Both high/low beams do not work. Leads me to suspect a fuse or shorted wire. I do have a hid kit that's about 3 months old so I'm pretty sure bulbs are good. My running lights and turn signals still work. Just headlights seem to be affected. Anybody recommend other places to check as well? I'm going to tinker with it after some sleep , been up for about 28 hours now...

Thanks. Good to know I'm not the only one in the boat here. Tighter is better... giggity... lol.

My coolant temp sensor broke off, and I cant get the dang thing out. Its so soft that it just bends and twists when I try to remove it. Any ideas how to get it out?

Negative. Can't go down that far anyway. The best way I've seen is to shave off material from the top and bottom the original hole so that double-DIN fits in there.

I was thinking of the wrong vehicle. This is how they do it in third gen Camaros:

If it was a cheap hid kit, the poorly sealed ballasts may be fried from the water
