2 spot 2 flood. I am afraid of the dark. hahaha. 4 in front, 2 on bumper, 1 on each side, and reverse lights is the eventual plan. All on separate circuits of course! Im thinking very small 2'' by 2'' on the sides with nightshade for hidden appearance. Don't want overkill on the side just enough to light what i wanna take a picture of. Cant hold a Mag-light and a camera at the same time

My SYE started to leak today at the rear splines, not the seal, but at the yoke and driveshaft. Does the rubber star washer act as a washer or does it actually seal anything?

Aw, come on. Keep it simple and get creative. Duct tape the mag-lite to your head!!

Just hold them with your wrists crossed, like the cops hold the gun and Maglite in movies

What reads ABS codes on a 2001 XJ?
I guess my question is also will a ODBII reader read ABS codes from an 01?
Wife drove it and now ABS light is on, brakes work fine and I get no codes on my cheapie Audel reader.
Thanks in advance!

How do you get to the bolts to replace the CPS?
Other than hiring a midget contortionist with long slender arms?
I can see it, I can touch it, but I can't seem to get a socket or a wrench on the bolts...

Sometimes helps to remove the front driveline if you've got big arms.

Only the expensive Autels do that - AL609 and AL619. If you're near a PartSource or NAPA they should be willing to scan it.

If I had one I'd offer to pop up to the store but mine's the little AL439, OBD-II only.

No brake line leaks I hope? Reservoir full?

Thanks for the offer but the Jeep doesn't get out much, at least not down your way or to, wait I think that there are both a NAPA and a PartSource in Perth!
Thanks for the suggestion, I wonder if Torque will read it using my bluetooth dongle, have to check it out!

The ELM327 chip can read ABS, but I don't think Torque has that capability. Didn't realize there was a PartSource in Perth, is it new?

Can anyone tell me with a Ford 8.8, to get to match up with a cherokee front drive shaft ujoint(1310), do I just need a 1310 adapter? Im confused because my 8.8 doesnt seem to have a yoke or anything. Right off the back is the large round thing with holes for what I thought the yoke connected to, or does the adapter bolt right on to that? Thanks for any help.

OK I got rear ended a few weeks ago and now I can't get the rear hatch unlatched. How do I get the hatch unlocked and open?
