XJ Ask the Question Thread
Just read a little bit about it myself. http://autorepair.about.com/library/a/1h/bl010h.htm I think I read that the 97-01 models have them. Kind of a pia to read up on. People post problems with them but not too much info about resolution.

General consensus on the LDP is to check all the lines attached to it to make sure they aren't damaged or clogged. Will be doing this tomorrow to see if that fixes it before shelling out the cash for a new one. Love buying parts I want, hate buying parts I need. Would hold off on this but I'm told I won't pass inspection (due this month).

I stand corrected. I'm considering the electrical tape over the check engine light mod. I keep getting the, "Blue's check engine light is still on and I don't think it's gunna fix itself!" attitude from the gf. Anyone got a fix for that? I'm leaning towards the duct tape over her mouth mod as well!!!
check your rubber connections on all hoses connected to the pump. It ll stop clicking .

Both radiator hoses collapse at the same time? That's odd. Was the waterpump replaced too? Some of them are designed to run the opposite direction.
I think the cause of mine clicking was when I replaced the injectors and had an o-ring get pinched during installation. Gas leak.
Been quiet ever since. Thanks

Yea both of them. Yea it was replaced before I got it I've replaced temp sensor, radiator, lower rad hose. Its worked for some time and I noticed today that my fan was on almost the whole time. I checked the coolant in the radiator it was about a quart or so low that's when I noticed the hoses
