some installation is gone and it'll be a little more loud. I took mine out and come winter had it right back in cause it was too cold
I've had mine out for yrs and don't miss it at all. Hot to the touch in the summer but cools right down when you move. A/C's fine. In the coldest part of the winter I just keep it HOT. No condensation. More than half deaf so it's nice and quite to.
This is going to sound silly, but I had to buy one of those aftermarket Hood Release Cables off ebay because my XJ only had the cable and a handy dandy pair of pliers to open the hood. I now have the hood release installed but I have no clue what size Screws hold it in to the body from the factory. Does anybody know what size Screw to use for it? I don't want to go out buy the wrong screw and force it through ruining the tread.

I had the same problem with my oil gauge reading going up and down seemed to be strong when cold then dropping when it warmed up I tried different oils and had the same problem (thicker oils should run higher pressures ) but it turned out to be my oil pressure sending unit. Cheep part compared to others and its a quick fix. now my gauge reads steady when idling weather the oil is hot or cold raises a little when accelerating then and holds the pressure when running
