I had an XJ that waste oil had spilled on the passenger floor. Used some Oil Eater and a brush and worked it in. Wet and dry vacuumed it out......

Use a carpet cleaner, the problem isn't with the carpet its the padding under it , I've taken mine out and used a pressure washer on it and let it drip dry, seemed to work good, any of the pre molded carpet is expensive, I've used several different companies, try Miami rubber in Cincinnati Ohio, if your gonna buy new

Hang over a fence to dry, turning over a few times.
Mine came out looking like new.

Hey guys new to the forum and i need some assistance....
So I just recently replaced my gear box, power steering pump, and power steering pulley. When I went to drive around I have no assist from the power steering system. I have bled the system with engine off and pitman arm disconnected and tires on the ground. When I went to start it and see if I had PS again, I had nothing. No noises, no squeals, no grinding or binding at all. I'm stumped..... either there is more air in the system or.... ?
Any input would be appreciated!
