Google aw4 to ax15 pdf and there's a whole write-up.

Not on a 1988 lol. No codes to throw...

I don't know what the differences between Renix ECUs are for stick and slush but they're different from other years indeed. Different interface to the TCU too.

Duh! I didn't even read his year. Haha! I'll take this as my sign that I'm too sick and delirious for the internet and go to bed.

Here's a decent looking thread on an AW4 to AX15 swap into a renix...

Dunno what year his AX15 came out of, but it might help ya out.

So they gave me the wrong fitting for my radiator on my 4.0 zj. This is for the upper cooler line. Only the smaller side fits into the radiator and the cooler line.

Where would I find one the has both of the smaller side.

So I came back from a long drive today, no trails or anything just a few hours on the highway and when I pulled into my spot I heard a knock noise from the front of the jeep. I pulled out and drove back over a few bumps and it seems to be coming from the front passenger side. By looking at the front steering and suspension I'm thinking tie rod end, drag link, or track bar. Anyone have any similar issues or suggestions?

I'm changing my oil tomorrow, napa gold with mobile 1 full synthetic 10w30. Here's my problem, my jeeps oil pressure gauge maxs out and stays there all the time. Should I replace my oil pressure sending unit tomorrow?

What is a good 12v source near the battery/fusebox area to tap into for a thermo switch for my dual fan conversion? I am sending 12v power directly from the battery post to the relay (constant 12v) but the thermoswitch I want to only get power when the Jeep is on.

Also, will a simple self-tapping bolt plus bare metal provide enough ground for the fan? Or should I take it to the negative battery post?

Thanks!

"Good"? No idea... The fuel pump circuit comes to mind, whether or not it's "good" is a matter of debate lol. I would not mess with the ASD circuit.

As for grounding, use one of the bolts on the upper radiator support. Also run a new cable between the rad support and your battery. Excellent way to beef up your grounding and will be very handy when you install a headlight harness.
