HELP!...I have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport Classic. The drivers door is drooping, I replaced the door check and now onto the hinge pins. Getting them out was easy, followed instructions on jeep forums and purchase a cheap rotary tool, cut in half and pounded out top pin. I purchased parts from Amazon, pins ,bushings and plastic shield. How do I assemble, the bushings won't fit in holes. I thought it made sense to put the bushings on the inside bottom and top holes but the bushings are too large. Can someone help me, I have a hammer in my hand and looking to hit something...lol

This area is for the older '84-01 XJ Cherokee, and very few of us know anything helpful about the new ones.

I got this roof rack for my XJ from a junkyard, even though it was incomplete. I thought the chrome look was sweet. It doesnt have one of the track bars, and somehow I can't find a jeep in a junkyard around here that has this chrome rack. I tried searching, but came up with nothing- What trim of Xj was this roof rack from? Maybe the pioneer?

Well, that is an option, but the purpose of the bushings is to be the wear point between the hinge and the pin. As long as you keep the pin greased up, it won't wear quickly, but if you don't, it won't be long and you'll be buying new parts again.
My old hinges didn't have any bushings in them so I decided to just put the new pins in. I replaced the door check and the problem is the same. I have a good inch play in the door up and down. The only thing left is the hinges themselves which is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Anybody have suggestions?

Hey Guys,
I need to replace my rear most rubber exhaust hanger, and I can't find the right one. The ones I keep seeing are like this...

But my rear most exhaust hanger is like the one by the transmission where the post comes off the pipe itself, and then goes into the hanger.
Anyone know where I can find the right one, or have a part number? I've been looking for like 2 hours, and cant find it anywhere.

what year is that off? I have never seen that before. Even on older jeeps I come across at the junkyard. Maybe it's discontinued and people have to switch over to the newer style whenever the old ones fail?
