Yes that's the generally accepted definition of loose steering

as mentioned.. have a friend turn the steering wheel back and forth as you inspect the front end for loose components like TRE's. the drag link, track bar and tie rod. make sure the track bar mount is tight. other things like control arm bushings will contribute to this kind of issue, but if its that bad then it should be obvious. are u joint good?

Driver side Axle u joint pops when turning out from a parking spot. That's the only time that pops. I did notice the front end seems loose when going over speed bumps also. When tapping the brakes fast I don't feel the front end shift like my old 90 did though.

Good advice here^^ as there are numerous parts that can have play in them between the steering wheel and the tires.

Does anyone have a link for what e brake cable will work on a ZJ disc conversion? My parking brake cables now are a little too short for my lift height and suspension travel.

For my 94, so the cables have to be the same length.

Edit: I'll be using these i guess. http://www.jeep4x4center.com/rough-t...52-dbc-05.html

New question: Will the axle bearings at the end of the tube change where the shaft rides inside the carrier? Like if the bearings went bad would that let the shaft slide in too far and rub on the cross pin?

Pulled the gas tank to replace fuel pump.
Where can I get the 2 fuel lines for the fuel filler neck? Went to Napa, advance auto parts, O'Reillys, and Carquest and the didn't have them and they couldn't order them. Can I just use radiator hose because it doesn't store fuel in it?
