I've seen them mounted on a Jeep on this forum. (You're right, they aren't released publicly yet.)

I spoke with Doug a week or so back about sending me out a set and I could do a nice review and supply some stock photos but unfortunately he only makes them for late models... which makes no sense to me.

I'd imagine you could get a set of Flats to run on your Jeep if you asked.

I can buy a 2009 used Powertrax locker that was in a 94 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with a D35 from a guy at work. It was a ranch Jeep that has not seen very many miles. Less than 1,000 miles. I have a 99 XJ. Two questions. Will this locker work in my Cryco 8.25 rear? Could I run it in my front D30 if I wanted to?

What? No!
**** don't work like that. If its for a d35 it fits a d35 and only a d35

No.

No.

It will only work in a Dana 35.

You could swap the entire axle out but I wouldn't do that.

Doesnt make much sense to me either.. I guess he has them made on the new models to stop at the rear bumpercaps or something, other than that i cant think of anything.

He says the wheel opening varies by 2 inches between the early models and the late models...

Then I brought up the point that ~65% of XJs out there would be early models... Seems he'd bring in more money making some for late models but went on to say that 90% of his sales were from late models...

Anyone know of a good scan tool for OBD-I for the pre 96 Jeeps? I have all of the OBD-II which helps with work, but not for my own Jeep
