If those are the 4 bolts going through the drive plate then yes. Or are there some other ones that im missing?

 

JCR spacer has fitment and consistency problems, according to everything I've read. All my research said to get the C-Rok spacer, and mine is great.

 

Check for vacuum leaks and test your TPS.

 

Hey guys. I just bout a 94 jeep Cherokee 4x4. When the AC is turned on the compressor sounds like it's screaming but only when manually turned on. The air also only comes out either the floor or defroster. Would a vacuum line cause the compressor to squeal very loud or is it a sign of the compressor going bad? Thanks for the help.

Mine does the same thing when I turn the ac on.... goes away after a few minutes... I think its the clutch is about shot... not sure if the blend doors in your xj are electronically or vacuum actuated

I need an aw4 transmission for my 99, can I use one from any year or does it have to be a 99? Same with the t case? I need a 231

 

thinking about relocating my vacuum call from the front bumper to under the hood. Im worried that when i disconnect the hose to the ball that the vacuum will get out lol. idk if the vacuum is a constant thing or if the engine creates it when it turns on.

so my question is, will i fudge the vacuum up if i disconnect the ball from the hose to move it?

 

No problem. Put it wherever you want.

 

That ball stores up engine vacuum so that when you accelerate and the engine vacuum drops, your vacuum actuated components still work.

 

Transfer case mating is pretty much the same in the later years. The AW4 TCU changed a few times over the years, I'm sure the OBD-I generation had a few iterations, not sure about later. I'm going to guess that 97+ might all be compatible but I'd stick with 99+ just in case. Hopefully someone else has a better answer.

 

I fixed it thanks!, I cleaned the throttle body, and blew out all the connectors with brake cleaner and compressed air, then checked all the vacuum lines. It was still doing it so I disconnected the battery and reset the comp, and it worked great.
