Anyone?

Yes. The pads don't touch that spot on the rotor. That outside ring gets hot.

Granted it shouldn't be extremely hot.

As long as the brakes aren't fading or getting hard to push you'll be fine.

New shortblock going in. Should I replace the motor mounts? The original ones have 155k on them... appear 'ok'.

And what waterpump should I get??

Replace with brown dogs and be done with them. You could get a high flow water pump online if you wanted to "upgrade" your cooling system.

OK all of my power door locks don't work except the hatch which works. So the problem is not broken wires in the door boots or broken switches. Is there a relay that controls only the front 4 doors that could be bad?

It's probably the actuators, they get weak, plus the linkage gets gummed up easily

But why would it be all 4 actuators but not the hatch actuator

Yeah, the way the doors are designed sucks, the hatch doesn't get the grime or water in them that the doors do
