When people lose their vacuum on their heater settings, people have said to go check the "Ball" inside the passenger front fender. I see 1 tube coming out of this ball. Does it just get detached? This is a common thing for heater door/flap vacuum loss?

Yeah its common issue. If the line is on there check next to the battery, you should see a vacuum line with a t intersection. That comes detached sometimes, and will cause that issue. Also see if your cruise control works, if not its definitely a vacuum issue. I drove around with no heat thinking it was a different issue and one day I happened to see the line was disconnected. Fixed it and enjoyed my air conditioning again

It could be detached, or the ball could be busted. That could cause the heater controls not to work.

So I finally found a set of fog lights that will fit on the stock bumper BUT there's no way of getting to the underside of the bumper because of the splash shield, radiator/grille support, etc. How do I get to it? Just take the bumper off???

Taking the bumper off would definitely be the easier way.. Or you can try it by taking the bumpercaps off. IMO its easier to do it with the bumper off.

Ok thanks I don't understand why there's the option for fog lights on my Jeep to install but it's a major task doing it

Lol you can get them on without taking the bumpercaps or the bumper off.. but it'll take you more time and effort to do that than to take the whole bumper off and on.

Yeah. I put my first lights on when i had the bumper off and they never moved until i removed them, and my Warns by taking the bumpercaps off. Apparently didnt get them tight enough that way, so now i have to do it all over again.

I got some KC Daylighters but they won't fit so I bought some inexpensive wally world brand lights that work pretty nicely.
