Andd double post.
I did my front brakes a few days ago, new pads and rotors (plus replacing a seized caliper slide pin). Followed the brake in instructions that came with the pads.
The outer rim of both rotors, approximately the outermost 1/8" picked up a gold color that hasn't gone away. Looks almost like a heat treat. Is this normal? Never done brakes before.

I have power door locks but its not locking the doors. I can hear the motor inside the door but it doesn't lock. The only thing that locks and unlocks is the hatch. What's wrong

But yea, check first if the rods are bent and also you may need to spray some WLG on things

It was kindof a *****, took a bunch of tries and a lot of playing with the mechanism to see how it worked and what was wrong. Doesn't take much to keep it from working properly.
Also, don't hand the inside door trim stuff by the lock rods, they CAN bend from that.

In my case, the bent rod only prevented one door from locking, the others were fine. You could watch the one that wouln't lock try to lock but not succeed. I also couldn't lock it manually.
Do you hear them try to do anything? If not I would think you had a bad relay somewhere.
