The aux fan isn't coming on, the ac isn't coming on, and both were working prior, I've checked fuses and fuseable links, no obvious issues anywhere. Need some Renix gurus to help. Its an '88 Laredo 4.0
Short answer:
Replace the cap on your coolant bottle with a 703-1396 from Napa.

The smell, a lot of problems with adhesion. The tar becoming lose. Also a lot people saying it just doesn't do the job like the butyl based stuff.

But yea even people who said they didn't have other problems said the smell was lingering for way too long and was strong.

I'm probably going to just spend some money on some Dynamat. I was going to layer it over the floor after I patch the hole.

I may just put the fat mat on the floors then put dynamat on the roof

Well I figure if I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it right. I'd rather not have to clean up the mess Fat mat, dynamat or anything like it leaves behind. Its going on once and it isn't getting touched until the damn thing burns to the ground. Lol

I can't remember exactly but when it came down to cost the fatmat wasn't all that much cheaper than the dynamat. I dunno.

Let me know how it goes.

Well I already have monstaliner down on the floor but its just way to hot in the Jeep. I don't know if I should just put carpet padding down and then carpet. Can I use dynamat pad instead of carpet padding?

I would suspect it won't adhere correct since you already have a liner down

Platinum, Palladium, and Rhodium. Only the platnium is more valuable than gold, the others Palladium is half the value of gold per ounce, and Rhodium is about $300 less.
There is an online store, that pays for shipping, and will quote your cat from a picture. I took a picture of my father's old cat off his 02' Tacoma and they quoted me $160. BTW, they also have a look-up so you can see how much yours may be. They emailed a shipping slip, I boxed up and on it went. Easy transaction, and I made $160 while drinking a beer and settling my belly.

So I have a question for xj guys, I got a horrible squeak when turning either left or right, mostly to pull into a parking space or around a curve, its kind of a squeak-squeak-squeak-squeak noise, it used to be when turning left only, but now its both ways. can this be U-joints?? my lower tie rods are torn a bit could that be the cause??

Yep U joints. Every half revolution of the front axle shafts the U joint is forced to rotate.

A press would make it easier but a hammer and a socket will work in a bind.
