I need a fuel pump for my 1996 Jeep Cherokee with 4.0 engine. I've been told that for this year the fuel pressure regulator is built into the fuel pump and that new ones cannot be purchased. Is this true? Any help much appreciated. John

Thoughts on this?
Popping each time I go from stopped to on the gas, and vice versa ( rolling to being stopped). I can feel the pop in the floor-board.
Links are all tight, u joints dont have any play that I can tell.
