Right on. So it just gotta match the amp. Any advantages to one or the other? I don't know jack about electrical.

I'd want a mono amp for the sub right?

Maybe these are more common in your area.... Because around here you do not find waggys. Let alone in the junkyard.. I got very lucky.

No idea as for (dis)advantages between the two, I faintly remember something about distortion but I'd just look up reviews on the products. Yes just a mono amp.

This whole thing is confusing me lol.

I looked at an amp. 300w @ 1 ohm, 150w @ 2 ohms, 75w @ 4 ohms. ???

So I should get an amp that's 400w @ 2 ohms? The sub is 400w power handling, 2 ohms.

I need a subwoofers for dummies.

Haha yes the amp must match the speakers. If you want a 2 ohm driver that can handle 400W you should get an amp that can deliver as much.

Asking again for suggestions ^

I have a 96 jeep Cherokee sport and I am having transmission issues. it keeps going from 4th to 3rd gear while on the highway 65-75mph. I have tried everything, tcu fuse, clean grounds, tps, fluid and filter change, cable adjustment, etc. I am also running 2 high powered amplifiers in my sound system. Could this be starving amps from the TCU giving me the shifting issue? I have not upgraded the stock alternator

I have a quick auto transmission question. My 97 xj with a 4.0 has been having some issues lately. After starting the idle is at about 1300 (used to be ~700) and it has been slipping in between gears and jumping in and out of neutral when I am just driving it around town. Fluid smells and looks good. Any ideas?

Look up the thread free fix. It's to adjust the TC cable on the throttle body.
