Can use my same rear drive shaft if i swap from a Dana 35 to a 8.25?

Still connects the same way to the axle. Only matters for the front ds if you're changing the tranny

It'll bolt up just fine.

Once you get it installed I'd make sure that there's enough travel left. You don't want the shaft to be too long. Climb under there and make sure the shaft still has room to move.

Ultimately, an SYE and a front drive shaft would take your cares away.

It'll work just fine. Especially if you're lifted at all.

While we're on the topic, does anyone know offhand the difference in pinion length between D35 and D44?

D35=11 1/2"
D44=12"
C8.25=12 5/8"

Well im currently on 2" and will be on 31s in about 2 weeks.

So i guess it would set my driveshaft up to be perfect. Sweet.
