Check Quadratec. They sell a Daystar poly kit for just about the entire front end. If you tell em you're a CF member you get free shipping. I just did today when I ordered my speedo gear and sway bar bushings.

Hello again & thanks for all the input, I got a few differing views from the members here and it seems the stock air intakes have changed over time (based on the posts). I am attaching a pic of the stock setup or top view of the '01 XJ.
It appears I cannot put an image in this reply, so please see the thread:

As you can see from the top view the sheet metal (bottom of image) in front of the air box is solid from the radiator tank outward. The air box has that silly little angled piece (top of image) and that's it! No place to draw air from except the engine compartment.
I just wanted the ones who were questioning "why another route for fresh air" to be answered.
Thanks again all!

how stupid would it look to run with two 30s on the rear and my 215/75s on the front for a month lol
i have to replace one tire no questions but its smarter to replace 2 at a time and i cant find my current size used cuz they shop acts like they dont exist anymore. and i dont want to buy two 215s if a few months later im gonna want the bigger tires to go with a lift and i dont have the money to buy 4 new tires at the moment....
yea yay for a pointless explaination
