Hello Guys! I'm getting a backfire kind of bucking hesitation when i try to accelerate when I first start the motor mostly when it's cold, but will sometime also happen even at operating temperature.
Also sometimes when a make a tighter turn (not belt related) after which
I thought maybe the fuel pump strainer (how hard is it to change the strainer?)
Is there a (stock type) fuel filter located somewhere out side of the fuel tank?

I tried spraying cleaner inside the throttles body, however nothing changed.
Looking forward to all replies. Thanks

Check your fuel pressure.
Ever replaced your fuel filter?

Are you talking axle side or TC side?

This might help you some.

Both sides lol.

Trying to super zoom some pictures I took of my garage to see if I can see the driveshaft laying in my parts pile and see if it has bolts attached to it lol.

Anyone here painted their exhaust? Not just the manifold, but cat, muffler and tailpipe?

I'm going to put in some new (nice) exhaust) and I don't want to see the rusty turd colored tailpipe in two weeks.

I've been looking at VHT flameproof coating seems like the right stuff.

o'Reilly sells high-temp spray paint for headers. Just painted the glasspack on my friends racecar, we'll find out how the paint fairs this weekend.

This is for the DD. Still gets muddy I guess, just not caked on.

Plus if its rusty and muddy when I get the mud off it will still be rusty. lol

The whole issue with temps shouldn't even be and issue at the muffler/tail pipe surely its cooler there than at the headers? The cat though, I'm thinking it shouldn't get paint because it gets really hot. I dunno. I juat hate that rusty tail pipe that I see now.

Im in the same boat kinda. I have a rugged ridge full sye at home and im assuming itll come with its own bolts for the tcase side. And i was hoping the rear driveshaft bolts for the acle side would work still for the new front shaft thatll go there.

A SYE kit normally comes with: Main shaft, 2 lock rings, speedo drive, housing, yoke, and nut. You reuse all your case bolts. You will need the 4 bolts that tread into the drive shaft from the yoke. You can use them from your front you have now and find 4 more to replace with the front in the mean time. The axle side is the exact same. I recommend replacing the straps but the axle side will work because of the u joint size. 1310 I think? Whatev
