Question, would PVC tubing be good to handle being used as breather hoses to extended rear diff, tranny and TC. Saw its been used but not sure long term. PVC tubing is half the price as fuel line tubing

Go to harbor freight and get a yellow coil air hose. Perfect for breather hoses.

I don't see why not. Diff breather doesn't need to be resistant to solvents. Might get a little gear oil vapor up there, no idea if it would cause harm, just check it now and then. It's not like your Jeep will explode lol. As long as it stands up to being under I say go for it.

well... the strong 4.0 died today! dont understand, i bought it off of a mechanic and ive taken care of the thing. 230,1** miles. the rods started knocking so since i have to replace the motor does it matter what year motor i put back in it? my jeep is a 97 it was running just fine when all of a sudden i heard the knocking and took it straight to the shop. anyway what im wondering is how hard is it to puul and replace motor and should i try and find the 1997 motor or just find a 4.0 I6? whats the difference between the regualr 4.0 and the high output? since i have to replace would it be better to put the high output in? would that change gas mileage cause i travel a good way to work? thanx guys
