You crazy. Keep em. I'm happy with my icons. Was gonna get 15" rims but rather stay with those and save for a set of 265/75/16 km2s or similar. Icons are nice with large tires on em. Keep your eyes open. People do sell 16" tires

Also I found a book a couple years back when I first got my xj. Its some sort of HUGE manual that explains how to diagnose, repair, replace, remove etc. every part basically. It says its only for the 94-96 jeep, would anyone be interested in this?
I believe its the original repair book dealers used or something. Blows a Haynes manual out of the water.

Question: what's the advantage of eliminating the u-bolts ? Besides having to use more u-bolts.
I'm going to make my mounts for my 8.8 when I do it and I figured why not get rid of the u bolts.

Enough for it to be clearly noticeable from a few feet away, cause its the first thing I noticed when I saw them. Maybe ill ask if I can swap them on and see how they feel. Do a burnout to even them out haha.

Also a legitimate inspection station will fail you for that. Round my way at least they will. Take pics and show us
I have a 1999 cherokee sport that has a vibration at 2500 rpm and up while in park or neutral. I have replaced the motor mounts and the tranny mount and the exhaust does not seem to be hitting anywhere. The guy I bought it off of just put a lower mileage motor in so I have narrowed it down to torque converter bolts maybe but when I pulled the inspection plate they were all tight..any ideas people
Still have a front end vibe/hum at 55mph. Its lasts between 55mph and 60mph and only while accelerating. The harder Im accelerating, the louder the hum/rattle. The vibe isn't a wobble, just a slight vibe. Did this before my new tires and also did it when the jeep was stock without a lift. Could it be either the front axle pinion bearing or the carrier bearings? No up and down play in the yoke and no shavings in the fluid.

Mine was doing the same around 55-60, it rides smooth as butter now, well not really but you get the point.

Few muffler questions.
Looking at the flowmaster 40 and 44. I dont want too much drone in cab. I will be replacing my raptor muffler l thats dumped before the axle with a solid pipe after the muffler to the back of the jeep.
I want the pipeing back to stock but a bew muffler installed.
Would i need offset inlet, ce ter outlet? Any links to the cheapest muffler online?
