What need to be done to a vacuum disco axle to fit an 99 Xj? It will not be seeing off road.

You do realize don't you, that the hole for the sender is on a bit of an angle?

Free vacuum disconnect bypass, plug the holes on the vac motor.

Seriously, do your self a favor and find the square ez out. The fitting is brass, the head is steal. The fitting therefore is softer and should come out. I deal with broken brass fittings all the time at work and I never have one I cannot get out with the square ez outs.

Hey everyone getting ready to the v8 ZJ steering swap and just wanted to make sure the ends are going to fit okay in my XJ knuckles without reaming?

Alright although I don't see how a square one will be any better than one that is round (like the hole) and reverse threaded.

I've been trying all day to remove and I've only managed to remove some of the brass around the top. It's incredibly frail and brittle. It looks damn near melted to the thing. Plus It's about paper thin.

Oh no I did not know that. Not sure how I'd know when I've been staring at the broken threads for the last 3 days unable to tell what it looks like under the head. I figured logically you would put a hole in vertically.

Thanks guys I'll try one last time tomorrow if I can find some square ones. Then I quit.

You need TRE at the drag link, TRE at knuckle, bar and the sleeve.

I think the TRE is fixed at the drag link? Can't remember...

Idk those part numbers

It has this neat lil ball hitch wannabee on the back. its strong enough to pull a plastic trailer i think/ Yeah the jeep is amped with a car battery. so its plenty strong
