Im talking about the side marker/turn signal and the turn signal in the rear lights.

3157s are the ones below the headlights and im pretty sure theyre the tail lights too.

So the 194s are the side markers up front? Do you know what the third brake light is?

Mines a 194. Its small on 97+ like pre 97 so there shouldnt be a difference.

i later on realized that my wipers, turn signals, and blower no longer work.
its possible that whatever caused that stuff to quit working happened before it overheated, and i just noticed it after.

i checked the blower fuse and the accessory fuse and those look fine, everything else seems normal my voltage seems fine and the xj seems to run just fine.

any suggestions on what the problem could be?

hey i just thought i would let everyone know that i found out what the problem was, it was the ignition starter switch 15$ and a hour later and it was all fixed.

but now i discovered that i have a small leak in my radiator, ive been looking at ordering a champion 3 row all aluminum radiator. anyone here currenty running one? if so is it keeping your rig nice and cool? im going to do a electric fan conversion later also when i get the funds

So...When I bought my jeep the Po threw in a steering brace. I just finally located all the bolts etc to it.. I know that the () shaped piece wraps around the steering box.. well where the hell does the other end bolt to? I figured it would bolt to the unibody somewhere but if you attach it to the steering box it doesnt even come close to lining up to the unibody, its like 2 inches too long.. WTF. lol

Comanches are sprung under, and most came with D35s. If you do find one, save it for a Comanche owner. If you cut off the spring perches from a 'Manche D44, I'll have to come punch you.

Do you have ABS? If you do, you'll lose it when you swap axles. Only the D35 supported ABS on XJs.
I have an 8.25. Most likely a 27 spline too. Id like a 29 spline or to put in an 8.8 but i dont have the mechanical knowledge to manage that honestly. Atleast not yet.

I also noticed that eaton and ox didnt have selectable lockers for any of the C8.25s, 27 or 29 spline.
