Need quick answer.
Had this problem before, sprayed engine down avoiding alt, diZzy, and major electrical. Used low pressure.
Now i have extremly high idle. Like 3k+.
Iv got no vaccum leaks, unplugged the idle controle motor next to tps with out and change in idle. When open up the throttle the idle just goes higher.
I have no tools with me and im stuck at the car wash with a idle that will kill me if i try to drive it home.

WD-40 in all your electrical connections, and then pack them with dielectric grease.

Trying to replace stock fog switch with a rugged ridge rocker switch, a little confused with what I have found via search. Stock harness has four wires, new switch has three tabs, I get the general in, out and ground wiring, but what do I do with the illumination stock wire? There's no place to put it? Should I splice it into the input tab? Or just stub it off?
Im surprised, I'm sure you just got something alittle moist and decided to take a break haha

Well a few months after i got it fixed i took it for a car wash and cleaned the engine bay. Im pretty sure i had the same problem, and i think i just drove it home anyways. The next morning i went out and started it and wala! It was running fine.
Heres what i assume, since idle is controlled by the Idle air control motor and the ecu it has to be one of those. Becuase last time when cruiser helped me i was getting resistance in the 5 main sensor grounds on the renix engine, so cruiser had me solder the 5 grounds together. Once everything was put back together the idle stayed down below 5-700 rpms with every start.
So now I believe i have either a bad tps, iac, or more wireing problems. Time for the multimeter and some alone time in the next few days i guess.
