Ah ok. All I'm going to be doing is making the plates for now. Not sure if I want to do 2x6 tube or what

Default Bumper Measurements

Does anyone have access to bumper measurements (front or rear)? I.e. hole placements, overall width. I'd be happy to design and share the blue prints to fab one. I'll be using autodesk inventor, so angles, measurements, welds, bead count, you name I can design into it. We could even stress test it for weak points

Never built it. Decided to go a different route. Still building something very similar.

Solidworks is more user friendly. I like Inventor better tho.

Photoshop does the same thing to me.

I need a seriously dumbed down version of PS. I can do just as good on MS Paint.

That's what I figured haha

I might not build a rear now. I don't know if I like the whole rear quarter cut and fold... If I do it I will want to make sides for that

Cut and fold looks great, I think. (As long as you have the bumper that goes with it.)

I'll be fixing that on my trail junk as well.

It had side but my welds sucked and they broke off. lol

Found this from googling the name

Don't even know what that site is, but I wouldn't do it either way.

Well, my theory was incorrect. But your solution was the right one:

...I did it wrong the first time (but, of course I followed the instructions lol), and the adjustment kind of made it worse (there was a well defined crisp feel to each shift of the transmission). I had zip for power going up a slight grade (tried it twice) during the test drive; I had to manually kick the throttle down before the end of the grade, or stay on the power curve with the throttle the entire length of the grade.

Came back home and read all the way through the thread, and somebody said "do it this way instead" ...and that did it: tranny shifted like butter, power was on the curve all the way to the top. Went to a different hill - much steeper - and same thing.

Problem solved. Best "minor" adjustment/zero cost fix evah.

Muchas gracias amigo.
