I love it. I've pulled down trees, pulled out cars and a suburban with it, and a whole lot of stuff.

Dang ...that puts a damper on my best-est pseudo theory; I'll have to keep looking (testing sensors will be next). Time to google some more.

...but I'm going to do it regardless, so the TY stands pat lol: don't see how it can hurt anything, and I was going to crawl under there today to measure what the "real lift" was regardless.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained ...lol.

This sure seems scammy but a guy text me about my canon camera I have for sale online.
He said he is in the military and wants me to ship the camera to west africa (this is what deterred me)..
But he said he would paypal me the $$$ before I sent anything..

Should I give him my paypal address or is that even too risky?

Ask him more military questions. Like what base and all that kind of stuff. And send him the bill

Do you buy stuff on Amazon much? Have him buy you a gift card for the amount: once you register the gift card to your account, the card is non-returnable. Period. I sold a car alarm to a guy in N. Carolina through Craigslist awhile back using this way to transfer funds. It's easy on both ends, and safe.

...you can get burned too easy on Paypal stuff: there's horror stories out there. I wouldn't, at least.

Let's start with logic.

Guy in Africa wants a camera. He can't buy one locally or from a major retailer online? He needs yours, plus the cost of shipping and duty fees?

I'd shoot back with some outrageous shipping price...

You can sell it locally.

If you do ship it make SURE you get shipping/delivery confirmation.

I've seen folks file for a paypal dispute after receiving the item and winning. You're out of camera and cash.

I think he can find a camera in Africa.

Tell him you'll ship him some used sex toys to verify the address.

Shipping internationally is 70 bucks.

So it would be nearing a 500 transaction.
he gave me what appears to be a legit address:
Ship to:
Oludare Brown
No 5 Alesh Hotel Road
Lekki-Epe Expressway
Alah
Lagos

Then he specified "fill out the custom form for regular international address"

Meh, I wouldn't do it just for having to deal with UPS and that crazy address.
