So what is the difference between these two parts? And do I need both?

Any magic tricks to getting an oil filter off? I've Nevr had one stick. This is the first time I've changed it since the previous owner. Grip just slips, oil filter wrench slips, drove a screw driver through and tried to turn..just demolished the filter. I'm at a loss. This **** happens at the worst time

Well i was an idiot when i did mine. I tried loosening from the top and realised i was turning it the wrong way.... I ended up crushing mine up good til I realised that. It ofcourse has to loosen to the left but from the top your looking at it backwards, atleast for me, so going left was actually tightening it lol.

He already did that and tore the filter up.

Can you get the adapter off the block?

Haven't had a look at it. I know that thing is a pain to get off too because you can barely get a hand on it. I'm gonna drive my fiancés moms car to work and hope someone can meet me on my lunch break

I think you should paint the wheels black.

For God's sake don't leave the bottom of the doors a different color. That would just look bad.
