I'll try the undercoating when its time, have to pull all my stuff out of the way lol. Should have done it while the axle was out.

So I have an 8.25 no abs and was wondering if I have wheel bearings and axle bearings or just one or the other on my rear axle?
I have seen people say they need to change their wheel bearings then end up actually meaning axle bearings. Its too cold right now (no garage) for me to feel like taking the axle shaft out to look for myself haha.
Thanks!

The bearing seats in the axle tube and the axle shaft fits into it. I'd guess you'd call it an axle bearing.
Precision calls it a "Wheel bearing"

I replaced the vacuum disconnect system in my front axle with a Posi-Lok cable, and now I can use 2LO. I've never had a reason to, though lol
