It could be the tension too.

...a new blade can require you to reset upper and lower guides and tensioning on ww bandsaws. Dunno about metal ones per se (wish I had the room for one), but that's where I'd start.

Yessir I did, I made double sure cause it's the first blade I've gotten for it. I think ill have to get a different blade tomorrow and see if it makes a difference

At what height are control arm drop brackets recommended on short arms?

Most recommend them at 6" of lift and up, however i have them at 4.5-5" of lift and love them. I dont really need the drop brackets, but had them and used them.

Would ATF sitting in a non -running vehicle turn color or break down?

Got my 91 running, had to swap out a trans line, and when I did the fluid coming out was slightly watery and looked milky.

I'm going to drain and refill before I actually run it. But what would cause it?

Water getting in. based on your other post about fixing transmission lines thats probably exactly it.

Red: normal
Milky pink: water
Brown: burnt
Green: St. Paddy's ATF

hey ya'll anyone know how to tell a sy to a sye if so i can use the info going to the junkyard tomorrow 4 parts its a 89XJ thanks ya'll 4 any info

Lol st. Pattys day ATF it was definitely pink.

Would it being outside in the winter be enough to get water in? Like condensation?

I just don't understand how it got in there.

Changing the line was because I ****ed up thee quick connect fitting, it wasn't leaking or anything.

You're SYE shopping but don't even know what a stock slip yoke looks like? Why are you looking for an SYE?

Hmm not sure. It SHOULD be sealed. Got a leak somewhere? Or maybe a crack up top allowing water in but not fluid out

Hope to hell there isn't a crack up top... that'd stink. I can't say I don't because I haven't looked. Lol

The lines did sit for a loooong time disconnected. But I wrapped em in layers of contractors plastic and taped them up. Guess enough moisture got in there over the years time somehow.
