Who here runs an xj front shaft with either a full sye or a h&t? I have a 98' xj, ax15, np231 and want to add an sye. Dont have the $ for a custom shaft at the moment. Looking for some ideas. Thanks

The latch mechanisms on the two different door styles are different. The piece on the body would need to be swapped, and the hole from the old piece filled in.

It's been done many times. I was going to put 97+ doors on my Comanche, but I couldn't find any that are full manual. I'm just upgrading the mirrors instead.

Fun times ahead for my Comanche. Other than latch and hinges, anything else?

For manual doors, that's it.

I have this vision of doing the entire swap; dash, wiring, hvac, drivetrain and front clip. After measuring, the firewall is identical. Even plan on using the Comanches engine for a "poor mans stroker" with another 99motor I have. An 87 with obdII setup. Should make for a long summer.

Wtf?! I just recently had my horizontal bandsaw start cutting crooked. It's never done this to me before, and I can't figure out why it's doing this! It's driving me nuts!! I have the blade guides as close as I can to the material and it still does it. I've player with different tensions on my blade, and it still does it. I've backed the blade guides away and it does it. The teeth of the blade are going the right way, and it just started happening when I put a new blade on last week. But why would a new blade make it cut crooked? And how do I fix it? Does anybody have experience with this? Please help!

Did you put on the right blade? Not to make you sound dumb but jw. Try getting a different blade. Or if you have your old one put it back on and see if it goes crooked.
