That would depend on the shackle - usually the shackle bushing is bonded to the shackle itself. Leaf bushings have a metal sleeve.
But size is roughly the same yes

I have teraflex 1.5 inch lift shackles that I put on new bushings and sleeves. I'm trying to avoid buying a bushing set because I wouldn't need the shackle bushings. So I thought I ll buy just eye bushings.
Rubber or red poly?

Second vote for rubber bushings. I have poly in the BDS leafs and they seem to transmit road vibration rather than absorb it. It was very noticeable but how much of that was the poly bushings or the 7 leafs, IDK.

Depends on your state. You may need mirrors. Here in texas you only need one working mirror so when I take my doors off my rearview serves as my one
