What is the big advantage of BPE? It seems that some people on here say they're great (but not why) and some say they're useless (but not why)? I know you can use them if you go up in lift to keep your existing shocks, but do they effect any kind of articulation? Are they worth installing/making out of rear sway bar brackets?

Easy answer,

1) once installed there's no more chance of breaking shock bolts that's in chasis
2) eliminates bar pin and cold weather clunking of aftermarket shocks
3) opens up usage of variety of shocks
4) adds up to 1" of downtravel
5) makes changing shocks easier. Much easier

Need more answers

I have an 01' WJ , and i have a wiring issue. All of my bulbs in the headlights, taillights are good yet the reverse lights dont work and the driverside rear blinker does not blink but the front right blinks and in double time, i looked at all the fuses under the dash and there are none specific to blinkers and or reverse lights. All the light related fuses that i did find were fine. Anyone know what this is or has had the same problem? Please help

Probably just need a bulb for the rear turn signal. Does it work when you use your hazards. And reverse light may be NSS. HAve someone stand many feet away behind the jeep and with your foot on the brake, cycle through the gears from top to bottom several times and then firmly into R. Probably have to clean it though

I'd assume your pretty familiar with how the code I slated out if you have read a lot about it, and I know Georgia and Ohio are different on it, but where should I start to look? I really think the ticket was bogus, because I've been pulled over and written a speeding ticket with no doors and the cop didn't say a damned thing to me about not having doors, and I got my license and **** checked by three different cops the night I got the "operating an unsafe motor vehicle" ticket, and the one who wrote the ticket was the only one who said anything about it.
Here in Fl, you can use the tube doors on your Xj but MUST have the mirror kit attached to them. Same for Wranglers & Cjs, no doors but need mirrors.

I'm gonna be doing the 99+ intake swap on my 98 this weekend. Has anybody here done it? If so, do you have pics or a very good explanation of where all the vacuum lines connect? I only ask cuz the newer intake has less ports on it. I know I'm gonna need to lengthen the wires for the sensor but am clueless on the vac lines. Possibly a parts list? Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Just brainstorming here if anyone cares to help.

I want to upgrade the steering on my DD that will get (at the same time) up to 3" lift. No more.

Would it be possible to run WJ knuckles with the steering and tie rod ran utk without moving sway bar/track bar mounts? Possible using stock WJ tres.

I wouldn't mind bigger brakes, but don't need the other stuff (over axle track bar) at 3" lift on my DD.

Could I chop off part of the knuckle and run an utk 1 ton setup?
