does anyone know where the power for the cigar lighter comes from, we've had nothing but problems with it but last time we took the dash apart we tested the live wire and nothing. its a purple/pinkish wire that went north of the outlet then into the dash. any ideas where it goes after? id like to be able to charge my phone and such.

Or just go get some quick disconnect line tools. They got them at harbor freight for like 7 bucks I think. So worth it. Makes dealing with those quick connects easy. No finangling.
