Fml. After changing my head gasket my jeep smoked like this for maybe 15 minutes. I got in and kept it reved at 5xxx RPMs for a good 5 minutes and it stopped smoking. I filled it with water and no coolant so I can't tell if the oil is contaminated. It hasn't smoked since. Normal?

When my headgasket went in my other car not only did it smoke, coolant dripped out the tail pipe. Is yours dripping more than normal?

Drain the water and add coolant. Drive it for a while and see how it does. If its still good drain the radiator once more and top it off with good coolant and see how it goes.

Look in your owners manual, for a 2000 4.0 it's 12 quarts. (3 gallons)

Thank you sir! I actually have my owners manual didn't think about looking in there haha.

Someone decided they wanted my Chiltons manual more than me. I was reading it at work one day and it "grew legs".

OK guys just want a few opinions. Either leave tire straped to cross members and add light bar, or build a roof rack to hold the tire and hold the lights.
