Fix them weekly but for the other dude that asked. FML apparently mean **ck my life. Hell a thread should be started for all of them. fwiw, tbh, lol, IMO, IMHO. rotest: the mods should make a thread.

Dukie Thanks for that detail on NSS pictures and highlighted boxes. Sort of reminds me of the Arlo Guthrie song "Alice's Restaurant" with the pictures and arrows. Job well done! Now all I gotta do is get under mine Mine is only the reverse lights everything else is working.

Anyone know for sure the size of the nut that's welded to the frame that the shackle bolt attaches to? Stupid welds broke loose and the nut is not the same size as the head... I have cut plenty of access to it, but I don't seem to have the right size wrench or socket and I don't want to go spending money on one without know what size to get

Its square if i recall right. Your going to have to cut till you can take it out by hand. If its still on the bolt you will have to cut the bolt

Someone else's idea, but you can take one of those foam pool noodle things, trim it down, paint it black and jam it in that space inside the fender to stop most junk from gettin up in there.

Default best was to change front diff oil in 2001xj

I want to change the oil and i see only one plug in the front of the diff. Is that the drain and fill plug.

You have to take the cover off to drain it. And fill it through that hole.

Or you can use a hand pump to take the fluid out through that hole and then refill it. Easier than RTV, unless you have LubeLocker gaskets, of course.

you need to remove the cover to drain it correctly. Alternatively you could suck out the old fluid though the hole, but that's both difficult and incomplete. Plus while the cover is off you can inspect the gears for damage and wear.

i did this on mine. Works perfect - just jammed in in there and done.
