To send the thread/post to the top, to get it more attention. Bumping a for sale thread makes it so it is now in the current section. It brings in more traffic.

I wouldn't pay over $500 for an xj prone to cracking a head. $5900 is obnoxious

Given the fact it has a "Cobra 19 Channel CV" I'd say ~ 3 maybe 3.5k.
