No, it's not time to change the trans fluid and gear oil again, they last for a long time. The transfer case (4x4 gear box) uses automatic transmission fluid.

General question, how do you guys have your cb radios wired? I've always just had an outlet plug. But this time I want to do something more permanent bc this radio won't be coming out of the jeep anytime soon.

I was told you get the best performance if you run right to the battery.

But I'm also juggling the idea of just running to the fuse panel.

What do you guys think? How is yours set up?

Unless your running a linear, amperage draw is insignificant just tap your power from the fuse panel. Use care where you route the antenna cable so you don't cause interference with the vehicle electronics.

Default ALWAYS THE little THINGS

hey everybody. I got a quick question, my rear turn signal bulb is rusted to the socket and burned out. (Found out when the guy behind me in traffic nearly rammed me). Does anyone know a replacement socket I can use from your average and abundant auto parts store? I see it's a two wire connect.. also I found a mystery wire coming from the "underhood mass of wires and stuff" near the battery. I'll post a pic later of this wierdo wire.
Thanks Y'all hope everybody had a happy holiday!

Default Bedliner to Carpet

Hey guys, I just finished putting the bedliner down for my front cargo area last night. Currently drying (14 hours ago) I plan to give it until like 10 tonight or so to get the best cure I can afford. But do you guys think I should drive it around for another week or so before I lay my carpet back down? That way it gets all the fumes out and gets some air flow? Or is it good to go when it is fully dried?

Couldn't hurt to give it a week.

Gita couple questions, one, this vacuum lune is hanging down right where the vacuum ball was in my old jeep, is it supposed to go to something. Did the newer 99 jeeps have vacuum *****?

And I also have lost probably a quart of oil in the last month, I see there's some leaking from the oil filter but not a lot, isn't there a o ring or something that usually goes bad there? Thanks
