So as I was driving my jeep yesterday I figured out that my brights dont stay clicked on when you pull back the lever. I decided to hold the lever back to keep the brights on and about 20 seconds later my lights flickered a little and my rpm gauge dropped to nothing as well as my speedometer yet the vehicle was still driving like normal other than that. I know it deff sounds like and electrical issuse but how does a possible broken brights latch cause a short or whatever of that nature? Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm curious to know how other guys ran the power supply to the cb from the battery and the route they used.

Hello, I am new to the forum and cant figure out how to start a new thread. I just replaced the water pump and thermostat in my 2001 Cherokee sport. Now the check engine light is on and I don't have a code reader. Any suggestions?

Did a 700+ mile round trip today. The drive going there was great! The drive coming back not so much.

Everytime I stepped on the gas it sounded like half the cyl. were missing and no power, just bogs down, especially uphill. Vac. Leak? Tune-Up? Also cruise control disengages and sometimes doesn't work at all. Again, vac leak? cable??
. I've been dealing with high idle for a while, iacv, tps (twice) replaced vac lines checked. I have a feeling it's all connected...just running out of ideas.
Thanks
