And this is the part I have. Is this the correct one. I know there are two kinds, a switch and a sending unit, however different stores call them different names. thank you.

Oil will not come flying out (although some may drip out). That looks like the right part, but it's really expensive.

I assume you have the oil pressure gauge on your dashboard, thus you need the "switch" - the one with 2 contacts and the oval connector.

Advanced Auto has them for about $22. MUCH better than $41 + shipping

your combination doesn't make sense. Your profile says you have the AX-4 manual tranny and the 4.0L engine, the combination of which never occurred. You mean the aw-4 automatic tranny?

Why the swap? You pretty much have to stick with a jeep transmission. I assume you meant you have the AW-4 tranny right now, which is a very reliable and strong transmission - more than adequate for the 4.0L's power. If your's is shot, just pull one out of any cherokee (they're all the same) and it should bolt right up.

keep the outside diameter as close to 235/75R15s and you should be good. Mine don't run at all, even at full stuff on saggy springs

Yea mine are currently 235/70/16 and they are like .15" larger than yours to go to /75 would be overkill. Like you state in your pics, the large tires do give good flex and performance. I was just being a jeep wh**e and wanting to get more lift without doin a budget lift on my DD

Anya has started making a really loud, deep rumbling noise whenever shes in drive. It vibrates the whole vehicle. What could this be?
