You have a vacuum leak somewhere. When you idle the vacuum isn't sufficient to open the heater valve.

No s***.....but I was have always seen where someone did a setup like that and it came out bein a lil shorter or in some cases a lil more than what it would what u say equal...so if someone has done this setup or close to it and has an answer that would help out rather than take up space in the thread I would appreciate the info....

What would be required to put an H.O. ('94) engine from a 2WD manual transmission XJ into a 4WD '90 XJ auto transmission? Is this a feasible project?

the other day I had to get on it pretty hard (in 2wd) and after doing so it seemed i had binding in my steering. Also, upon acceleration I felt/heard a thumping that appeared to be on the floor...

so far i've replaced all TRE's, drag link, steering stabilizer, steering box and after theft was attempted i had to replace the steering column as well.

any ideas?

Get anything but the cheapest ones. Unless you are running high performance you will be fine with mid grade wires. IMO they are the least of your worries in the spark trail. Get a good cap with brass tips and champion copper plugs.

a spacer and shackle will always net what it says. A aal will vary based on the leaf pack you put it into. You will be at 5 inches when done if your front and rear are at 3 inches now

youll be looking at 5" maybe a hair more or hair less. but, this will sag over time. ive had this exact setup and i would strongly advise against it. the shackles will beat the hell out of your aal and if you lift the front to 4.5-5" soon enough your rear end will be way lower than your front. also if you lift the front and rear to 5" you will probably need an sye, (or tcase drop at least) a new trac bar and more than likely longer control arms. these are just some things to think about. i regret lifting my last jeep the cheap way. this time around i stayed at 3" the right way on 33's and now i have plenty of wiggle room to make all kinds of adjustments.

Cool thanks...now i know the shackles n spacer kit is decently priced is it a decent setup or would it be better off to do a full like 5.5" kit?
